Sarge I just wanted you to be aware that although that little Black Racer you found inyour back yard is pretty harmless, there are a few critters, not all that far from your place, that do indeed deserve your respect. Here's one example. ........ Coot

burmese python, "Python Molurus Bivatus" If memory serves.
Can be quite docile, can be quite lethal as any giant boid (Python and boa)
Why tyhye sell these things is beyond me, a 6 to 7 footer can kill a full size hair chested adult man.
When they get over 12 feet they are all b ut impossible to control. and these things have been recorded over 20 feet.
Reticulated python, african rock, burmese, indian, green anaconda all very lethal and availible at most pet stores
