2. Brownells sold more high capacity bullet magazines in 3 days than it had in 3.5 years.
3. Cinema shooting in Aurora,Colarado resulted in a 41% increase in gun sales the following month.
4. Population of the US = 311 million estimated guns in circulation 300 million.
5. Between 4 and 7 million guns manufatured in USA/annum
6. 100,000 Americans shot yearly with a gun, 31,000 fatally.
7. 11,000 murders, 18,000 suicides.
8. Since 1968 over 1 million americans have been killed with gun

Since gun massacres in Uk,Japan and Autrailia gun laws have been tightened up and the results have shown a huge decrease in gun crime..

I have been a competition pistol & skeet shooter for 45 years. Tough gun laws will not stop the baddies from buying guns-just make the black market even bigger.

A closer study of "mass murders" (generally, murders where 4 or more fatalities are involved) will likely reveal mental illness plays a major role. IMHO mental illness is an issue that needs attention anyway. Children (that survive abortion) are consistently being stuffed full of psychotropic drugs that do nothing to properly address the mental deficiency they are suffering from. Then, when they grow up and go on a shooting rampage, they can add to the statistics the OP quotes above.

By your logic Automobiles are responsible for deaths, not drivers.
Your logic would place the blame for pool drownings at the foot of the pool makers.
My suggestion would be to hold people accountable for their actions.

If someone is bent on killing, making guns illegal won't stop one death.
Only fact you omited is a CRIMINAL PULLED THE TRIGGER on every one of these ocassions. That and EVERY shooting at a school occured in a GUN FREE ZONE.
CHICAGO, the pinicle of democrat leadership just celebrated their 500th murder this year.
Look at the stats you neglect. Cities and states with the mmost stingent gun laws have the highest murder rates, highest violent crime rates. States with the highest percapita gun ownership have the lowest.
I am all for disarming the murdering scumbags, when you find out how to do that, fill me in.

Im guessing the babies might have a different opinion. How many bright shining stars have been extinguished for the convenience of the mother. Scary to think.
