JR1 I'm glad that you have access to this or similar information at your local camera club. If anyone is interested in the course they can enjoy it from the luxury of their home or almost anyplace they can carry a computer, PDA, or reader. There are free videos on the web as well. I've enjoyed their organized format and am just passing the info along. What's free may not be available or convenient for everyone. It would be nice to have more free seminar locally.

Find 3-4 people who enjoy photography and start a club. It is always more fun to learn with some friends.

My experience over the past year has indicated to me that camera clubs (I belong to one) are stuck and non-creative in what they indicate as good images.
Meetup groups for photography (I belong to 3) are more helpful of your vision and more respectful of your creativity.

I didn't register for the course. I tried registering but, couldn't access the discount on the second course. After some disappointment I thought, "I'm certain I have enough photography books and magazines that have addressed the topic." I'm a book collector. It's time to make good use of what I have.
