Something Borrowed ... Something New
I read an "e-tut" by a guy named Alex Koloskov, on creating HDR using Photoshop Merge. What the heck .. gave it a try.
Beautifully and tastefully done
Most of the time I don't like HDR because it's usually overdone and then the photo looks fake or cartoonish but yours is well done.
Let's see some more :)

Thanks tramsey. I'm not into the "garrish" look either. I have the "Photomatix Pro", but haven't been able to control the "cartoon" effect with it. Thanks for looking and commenting.
I like the merge effect. How many shots were merged? And were they at different setting, exposures?

Thanks John. This one was a 3 shot bracket, -2 .. 0 .. +2. I used PSE 9 PhotoMerge, which is capable of merging up to 10 shots. Had I expanded my range to 3 shots on the minus and 3 shots on the plus and merged all 6 shots, I could have lessened the blown highlights in the water, and increased the detail in the shadows. Now that I know this, perhaps my future HDR's will improve. Thanks for looking and commenting.
