I've been sharing my hobby of photography with my wife. She is trying to get her head around the exposure triangle and doing a great job of it. She is probably the only person alive that will try to shoot hand-held at 1/10 of a second and do a good job of it. Not a problem today when we walked out the front door and this confronted her. She wouldn't look through the view-finder let alone stand still for a tenth of a second.
Guest - I think it's smiling!
Yup, looks like it
She didn't like this either
Woa!
"Hellooooo there slippery fella!", indeed!
Nice job of standing still and getting the shot... kudos

You've got an incredible eye!
I wouldn't have questioned it and as such ... you've given my my "something new learned for the day"... just before I signed off for the night but hey... it still counts! ;)
Cool snake - what species?
Thanks, I've lived here over thirty years and was not aware of that. Goes to show, you can still learn at any age.
I love the spiderweb with the sun glistening on it.
great shots, if you get close enough you can see the ear openings on legless lizards, snakes lack ears.
here in the uk we have a legless lizard very similar we call them slow worms but their very very rare now a days ,if they are found near or on a construction site then work will stop as their an endangered species as are newts here.
Very well spotted indeed.

The only worms and legless lizards we have in British Columbia are in parliament buildings.

Similar here: ours have have legs, but are spineless.
Very good shots. Especially like the spider web.
