I'm sure some have seen this shot already but since I've only recently FOUND the newest segments of UHH (and this one in particular) I thought I'd re-share.
The lighting in the home where the birthday photos were taken was HORRIBLE. I cannot stress that enough... and room for lighting equipment was nil.
That said, this is the result of some post production processing with Light Room and I consider it my favorite "happy accident" to date. It has an old fashioned quality to it that I couldn't duplicate again if I wanted to.
Taylor, the birthday girl, is in the center.
Hi tilde like it some pretty cute gurls
I like the photo...to be a good photographer I have heard you have to be creative and you where just that here. Thanks for sharing and letting us know what you had to do to where you are with this picture.
It does have that old fashioned quality to it. I am glad you re-posted it. I never saw it the first time around.
I like the old fashioned quality. Thanks for re-posting as I didn't see it the first time either.
Great smile, and great eyes! Very nice capture for sure.

Nice! Definitely reminds me of those old Olan Mills-style family portraits from the fifties. Good job.

Nice accident.
Super picture of the children....
Isn't it wonderful when a mistake turns into a very special photo? I like this photo a lot.
Sometimes we are blessed when serendipity happens. . . That unplanned perfect moment when photographer, camera and image all come together for the perfect shot. I love it.
Good job with the PPP. You couldn't really see the problem as much as you think.
