this was taken awhile back i colour popped it in elements i turned it b&w then made a layer and high lighted what i wanted to be coloured. If it's of any interest this post box is on Harrow on the hill it's the only postbox the Harrow school boys use as it get's a special stamp from the post office Harrow school is a private school here in the uk second only to eaton, i'm a true harrovian as i was born and breed on the hill, house's there now sell for around the 3 million pound mark although you can get cheaper .i should add i did not go to harrow school lol a term there is now around £20,000 per term .

Very classy selective colouring!

(At first I was going to comment that the photo appeared tilted, but I see that the fence and wall in the background are straight so that would suggest that the post-box itself is not situated straight or the walk it sits on.)

Must be pretty cool to revisit a place you grew up in to find it super expensive and posh!

Your very observant tilde the actually pavement(sidewalk) is slightly curved as it,s at the top of the hill, harrow on the hill is posh it was,nt when I lived there lol it,s steeped in history the school it,s self was built by john Lyon in around the late 15 century ,Henry the viii had a hunting lodge which is now a pub apt called the kings head.byron the poet went to harrow and wrote many verse there in the graveyard he always sat under a oak tree which is still there I spent my youth dreaming there and have made it part of my will my ashes be scattered from byrons seat then I shall return to many a happy year and that's a fact.

I saw a picture using this technique where a mum and dad were holding hands of their daughter whom was in the middle of them skipping, the little girl had a beautiful bright red coat on the photographer had colour popped it and only her coat was in colour ,that picture to me spoke volumes pure magic.

personally i love this technique ..and it works very well in this photo...i have seen others on this forum say that it is outdated..but i think it does wonders for may photos..i did some up for christmas where the child would be holding just one christmas ornament and only colorize the ornament...
