I have been using Picasa for number of years, my problem at the moment is; how to enlarge the print while e-mailing it to the news media that requires larger copies in order to publish submitted photos. Any suggestions ? Thanks. Erik

Do you really mean that you are trying to enlarge the picture or am having problems sending large files?
I don't know how to resize larger than the original in Picasa but I'm sure other experts will be able to deal with that one.
I find emailing large files rarely works so I usually send them using one of the agencies.
http://www.transferbigfiles.com/is one I have used before, the recipient "collects" the file when he is notified by the agency.
I used to use FTP and many users will recommend this method also.
Google "send large files" and or FTP (file transfer protocol) and you will be spoilt for choice.
What do you use for email? Can you just attach the original photo to your email message and send that way? I've received 10 MB files via email. How large is the photo?

I assumed that the files were similar to mine - combinations amounting to 2 Gb. or more.
You could also look into DropBox ... you upload a file to a DropBox server, and provide the recipient with info on how to access and download the file. Works around the size limitation on email for larger sized files. You can get info on DropBox by looking on the internet for them. There is a free membership that works for most, also a paid membership for some of the more advanced requirements if you need those.
Dropbox is indeed a great way to go, but I do not understand why you can't just size it in Picasa and send it as an attachment in your email. It may take a while for you to send a large file, depending on your computer, but should still be able to work.
