My new buddy...

This is one of many stray cats that frequent our neighborhood. However this one always comes by everyday. We seemed to have bonded. He's good to go with just some kind petting and rubbing...then's he's off on his daily explorations.

Thank you kindly apache...I'm kind of pushing it here, not much to shoot in Nashville this time of year. No snow to speak of and lots of rain, just got bored and decided to photograph this little fella. He kinda looks pissed off, but he's not...he had just found a comfy place to squat down, then I shoved a camera in his face. Thanks for looking...

He does not appear to be that old. My guess would be 2 years or under.

He is quite friendly for a stray. My guess is he has a home somewhere. He's in good health and well fed. He just loves to roam the neighborhood. I just worry about him being out in the cold rain or getting hit by a car. So, I am always glad to see him when he does show up. He always lets out a big "Meow" when our eyes meet.

Stinson222 I think your right...they look amazingly similar. That's a wonderful photo by the way. Nice camera too...
Below is our other cats we took in. They were also strays. We decided to adopt both of them. We just couldn't break them apart. They spent last Winter outside in beds on our front porch we make using heating pads. The little white one was skin and bones. She was living off whatever birds she could catch, which wasn't much. We nursed her to health and now she's put on weight. The yellow one we think might be a cousin of the one I posted at the beginning. They have a lot of similar traits.
Cool Cat...thanks for sharing with us.

Pretty cats. I had a persian that came here a couple of years ago, I really loved that cat, he was old and we called him the old man. My husband even liked him and he hates cats.

Cute cat. Try shooting at a distance with a telephoto, I think you will find the shot more natural looking.
