Waldron,
these are nice shots. brings back memories of my travels there in the military. i was lucky enough one time there to see the actual love boat go thru the canal.

Panama City has sky scrapers, it didn't in 1971.

Thanks for the memories. As a battalion commander, I helped close out the U.S. military presence in Panama. One of the best tours of my career.

Many of the skyscrapers you mentioned were, at that time, built by drug cartels for money laundering. It was haunting at night to see but a few illuminated windows in a vast array of buildings.

I was stationed at Summit Naval base, past Fort Clayton, out in the boondocks. Great duty.
