Finally managed to do a proper edit on my shots.
During a session of shots--multiple cameras, ever changing groups--a woman approached me and asked me to take her picture near the alter. I had struggled to get good shots of my mother-in-law and her friends there so I wasn't looking forward to it.
She told me she has never had a really good picture taken of herself.
I told her she would have to either let me set up an umbrella or change location.
Time was the limiting factor as everyone was leaving in ten minutes or so. We moved to a hallway with a stained glass wall as the backdrop. We took a few shots and I tried to pose her and had her take off her glasses.
We are going to try a better portrait next week, but this is what I ended up with after PP.
Opinions are welcome.

The two of you should be proud of that photo. Very nice.
Nice light and a lovely subject. The composition is a bit akward though with the negative space behind her. In a portrait some extra space in front, in the direction they are looking is usually a good thing. I bet she is happy with it though!

I'm glad you mentioned the composition. This is not the actual shot that I will give her. In the real shot, the space is at her back but I wasn't too sure about it since she appears to be looking the other direction--ever so slightly.
Plus I increased the contrast in her white jacket for this version.

Very nice photo. dont care for the comp. But it does work for me due to her eyes are looking back to her left. Good job.
This is the original framing.
The first version of the shot. Still need to clone out the bit of something on the carpet. Muted the colors for this one, but not as much as usually do.
This one is my favorite, but there was glare in the glasses. I cloned it out.
Nice job on the composition and on the cloning.
