C&C welcome
Looks like a real mean beast is hiding under the hood.Classic
.... like the photograph .... I love the way the light falls onto the car! ...
... but the subject ... I dont care for what has been done to what was once a wonderful old car ... ruined it in my book!

That's why it is called a Street Rod. I am a Street Rodder (belong to the NSRA) and at times I am conflicted. I don't mind seeing something that is darn near rusted or damaged almost to the point of just being scrap and being brought back to life in a Street Rod. Now, that being said, I sometimes cringe at when a mint old car is hacked into being a Street Rod. There are cars, in my opinion, that should be left as is or restored. Cheers.

I can see both sides of this particular coin, I had a mid year corvette many years ago, 67 coupe 427/390.
A friend had a 63 roadster he drag raced and he modified that car out of existance, narrowed dana 60 rear, full NHRA chassis certified chassis and big block running gear.
His phoilosophy was he was never going to sell it so he could never lose any value.
I kept mine pristine ( except for clutches and rubber) and eventually sold it for much more than I paid for it.
PS he bought the car in 1965 and currently races it with a wild 327 ( bored to 337)
Love the photo & the car!!!
