Summer in Frankenmuth, the fountain in front of the Chamber of Commerce and a local farmer combining wheat!
the fountain photo is very good. I also like the second and third photo but again on the left side of the photo, I see a black hue that appears to be a lens hood. If that is what it is you might want to get the lens hood recommended by the manufacturer of your camera and this will go away.
I have some harvest photos also

The fountain shot seems to have a blue tint to it especially the statues. also fill flash would have taken care of the darkness around the statues. I do love your work you definetly have an eye for compistion.
Thanks Sinatraman, the blue tint was the actual color of the fountain...the vignette is a technique I seem to really like so I put the black stuff there..:) Thanks for your input though. Thanks for the compliments too!
I grew up in Frankentrost, a small community near Frankenmuth. At the time Frankenmuth was just a small farming village. My older brother was a member of the first graduating class at Frankenmuth High.
Do you still live in the area Pictureman? I don't live too far from Frankentrost actually. Maybe 4 1/5 miles
Aahhhh...memories...I drove a combine one summer after my junior yr of high school. Was north of Glasgow Montana. Also hauled hundreds of hay bales, drove a swather, 3 tractors and had lots of fun.
The combine had to be greased every couple hours, but I really had a good time that summer!
Thanks for the memories!!
It's been more than 50 years since we lived with my grandparents in Frankentrost.
My wife and I are retired from jobs in the Lansing area; we now live in Montague, MI six months, October in Illinois with our daughter and the remaining five months in Mission, TX. We have been full-time RVers for about 6 years now.
I have been retired for almost a year and my wife is retiring this coming Friday....we too are looking forward to full timr RVing!!

Very Good, Penny.
I like the black "haze" mask you added to your pics.
It really gives warmth to them.
