Just went to import some pictures taken yesterday on the 5DMkIII.
Now I know for sure that I was not holding the camera upside down..I was not that drunk...the RAW are the right way up!!!
see screen grab..what the hell is going on here?
the top left JPEG and the two on the RHS middle
Must be from down under?
;-)
Although fun intended, I don't think MT's answer is much help to the OP.
Anyway, are you using a card reader to import from,,or straight from the camera? Try a card reader if you are not using one, this has been identified as a possible cause of this. Otherwise,,a restart of LR has also been reported to fix this problem.

Now you SAY that you were not that drunk, but my experience with my ex military buds from Jersey on Christmas day....yeah....I don't think I'm ready to blame Light Room just yet...lol.
Direct from the camera, and yep a restart did the trick. A bit bizzare

Is that from the real Jersey where I am from ? or your fake American New Jersey ;) ?

The American New Jersey, not the Chanel Islands.
I can't say I am familiar with the drinking habits there.
But, upside down pictures...I'm just saying.....
Now, tell me something
Since you lot often call New Jersey, just 'Jersey'
do you also call
New York just 'York'
or New Brunswick jsut Brunswick
or New England or new hampshire?..or is is Just New Jersey that you are lazy with ;)

Well there are still a few local farmers that still produce a little 'moonshine'/ 'eau de vie' firewater what ever you want to call it..so i guess the drunken habits are much the same

When the settlers came to this country, they started brewing right away, and that tradition has been passed down through the generations, mostly in the south, it seems.

Actually, we are lazy with many things, but as far as state names, it's pretty much only Jersey. Fuggedaboutit.
You may also hear San Francisco referred to as Frisco, " I'm going to a club up in Frisco tonight.", but only if you are not from there, they hate that. But those of us non-San Franciscans, will use it from time to time. Lazy ya know :-D

As you leave Brooklyn and enter Queens County on the Belt Parkway, you see a sign on the right, "Leaving Brooklyn. Fuggedaboutit"
Now, back to the original question. These things happen in Lightroom. Until you can figure out why it's happening, just go to the lower left or right side of the photo and, using the arrows, re-adjust it so it's the way you want it.
