As well as still photography, I do time lapse videos with a JVC camcorder. I want to try the other end of the spectrum with hi-speed/slo-mo video. Ideally, I want a camcorder that shoots say, 200-900 fps, that is affordable.
I have not had much luck in research. Casio has some cheap & nasties & Sony has their NEX-FS700 for around 10K. There are countless professional/commercial slomo cameras but they cost mega bucks.
Do any other Hoggers delve in slo-mo, & can advise on affordable equipment for the amateur?
Maybe not what you are looking for but CANON SX40 does Slo-Mo Video recording

Thanks STRYVYA. The SX-40 is a sweet little camera, but not the answer. What I need is a single purpose dedicated slo-mo camera. They are procurable but are horribly expensive. I think the idea will be put on the back burner for the time being.
