Newport Beach Boat Parade with Images

I'm new to nighttime photography. I shot these images at the Newport Beach Boat Parade 12.23.2012 with a Nikon D7000 at IOS 6400. any tips to make them better

Hey Doc ..... the last one's your best shot ..... but a smaller aperture would give more depth of field .....
..... on the first two you used 1/30th and 1/40th shutter speed is too slow to stop movement, and that's why they're blurry .....
