Stogursey Castle is in Somerset, England.

It is not known when Stogursey was built.There is no record of the castle in the Domesday Book so it must have been built in the late 11th century when William de Falaise built a ringwork castle on the site.William de Curci built a motte and bailey some time in the 12th century.

Love the pics.I am often down in this part of Somerset and have never heard of it before.Because it is part of the Landmark trust,you can stay there.
