I just purchased the Panasonic ZS19 a couple of weeks ago. I haven't had a chance to use it yet.
Does anyone have any pointers to pass onto to me?
I am mainly interested in nature shots.
The camera does a pretty decent job rendering a basic image. I heavily rely on a tripod and the 2 sec timer for a great many of my shots.
With some photo editing software (I have Paint Shop Pro X4 and all of the Topaz plugins), You can get a pretty decent image.
The attached image is with the ZS19, and enhanced with Topaz Adjust5.
I also have the Panasonic FZ150, but I carry the ZS19 around (more frequently) because of it's compactness and its ability to zoom in 20x.

I took this shot of an Osprey eating a fish, with the ZS19 at i.zoom 40x for a 960mm total zoom.
Very nice shots. Thank you, I should expect a lot from this camera.
