Unexpected Visitors

Loot what landed in my Oregon backyard this morning - a small flock of Canada Geese, a group of about 50 total youngsters. watched over by 6 of the bigest adults I've ever seen - about 10 times their size. My aren't they grand. They are welcome anytime! I was able to approach within about 50' on foot with my T3i and 250 mm.

Grand photos. I also have the T3i, and I hope to be able to catch a photo like these some day. Very nice work.

Beautiful ! And you guys I always enjoy the backgrounds so much! As a desert born person trees/greenery are my passion.
Although much beautiful scenery comes from the desert areas also. Hopefully this Spring I will be well enough to send you some ! Happy Holidays ! ! ! !
