strangely enough i found this guy late last and just remembered he was down in a corner which again wasnt the best place to snap him but it,s the best i can do . nikon d90 , f22 , 1/200 sec , flash with home made diffuser , tamron 90mm macro.
any ideas on make of him he looked well odd?

Just a very long-legged spider. Not your normal leg/body ratio.

Upon download & enlargement, a bit of noise becomes apparent.
Is this image already cropped? (excessive cropping causes pixelation)
What was your ISO? (high ISO causes noise)
Extreme crop to show noise & pixelation (grain).
you are correct. i had cropped that one. apologise, as i should have said. iso was at 200. again sorry i omitted that too.

Move close. Fill your frame. You will have narrower DoF, but better resolution.
We understand that working indoors can present obstacle problems, like walls & corners.
obstacles lol your right there this guy was in our toilet right in the corner i had to hang over the loo seat to get anywhere near him if i was to tell you that during the process i was over the loo and forgot my strap was attached and is now wet it wouldnt be a lie.
We always called them "Daddy Long Legs".
