Nothing wrong with monochrome. The one of the boy if you look at the edges of his face he looks like he's been cut uot and stuck on poss a tad to much sharpening. The others i think are great and have good atmosphere. Best for the seaso to you and yours.
I am absolutely an admirer of B&W and monochrome images. I think they are just timeless. As much as I love bright colors in life, I gravitate toward B&W. I love the bottom four photos!

Show off, don't like the first, purely personally but god, great shots the rest.
3 and 4 are the best, the sun looks odd in the clouds around the edges
I like a GOOD B&W more than color, and these were very, very good................
Kevin, thanks for sharing these interesting photos.
Love how these look. Well done and impressive.
I think the nice thing about monochrome images is they simplify issues of contrast by not dealing with the contrast and balance of colors. I think that the simpler a monochrome is, the better it works - basically the interplay of light and dark tones on a theme.
I agree with JR1. Several of these images appear to be composites. If so, a little softening of the edges would hide the sharp demarcations between the objects.
The Land Rover photo looks a little manipulated, but very stunning still the same! Very nice!
