I had been using my Canon 85mm/f1.8 for some of my family and senior picture shoots with beautiful results close up but limitations with groups and full body shots. After researching and reading reviews I ended up with the Sigma 17-70mm/f3.8 and getting nice results without breaking the somewhat limited bank. Recommend it for a good everyday walk around lens.
