For all the train folks!

Went to the Bellagio hotel to check out the Christmas and they had two trains running on a fairly large layout even though it wasn't to scale but I thought you would enjoy it anyway. Notice the orange boxcar behind the flat car carrying the Christmas tree. The black piece on the front of the car is a video camera and they had monitors set up all over the place so you could see what the train saw!

Nice shots! That camera on the car idea should interest some model railroaders, especially in their more realistic settings!

I do this occasionally. I stick my camera on a flat car and have the locomotive push it. Lots of fun. I posted a short video on my Facebook page a couple of years ago. I don't know if it is still there. I haven't visited my site in quite a while.

Awesome!, Going today to the festival of trains over 20 members of the Northern Michigan railroad club have their trains on display. It took them 2 weeks to set up, this is their 10th year and my first time going...

If anyone is in the Galesburg, Illinois area, they have the local club set up trains in the Carl Sandberg Mall during the Christmas season. I remember seeing them there a few years ago when my wife and I came thru there. I remember it being a large layout.
Anyway, you have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, all UHH members.

Really love the train pictures and the bear one in another post. I do want to ask you about your Avatar. Is that a picture you took of that old panel truck? If so, where is that? It is way cool. Would be really nice to restore or rod. :-) Cheers.

Wish I could tell you about the tree coming out of the truck but I just found it on the internet and really liked it so I took it!! Sorry I don't know more.
