I believe the name of this is Dasypodia cymatodes. Juat foun it in the house. Man when you think their dead and they try to fly up your shorts does it make you jump.
Canon 600d and sigma 50mm macro. Three in total but give me time as they are large.

Your 50-mm macro looks quite sharp. Download & enlarge this crop.

With every endeavor, there is a learning curve. Macro lighting is your next hurdle.

Hi as stated previously i am hoping to get the flash sorted sometime in the new year, as for the crop i have CS5 and are more than able to crop my images. best for the new year.

Normally by the time i find one indoors the cats have wrecked it, i think the hawk moths and many of the exotics are great. Best for season.

we all start somewhere my first macro i remember was a fly, out of a 24 roll of film only one was even close. that was 37 years ago. best for the season. post some and let me know.
