I know it is, but these conspiracy assholes make my head want to explode. I picture them living in their parents' basement in the dark with a tin foil hat to block the alien thought control waves. Each night they hold a novena to Joe Arpaio, and open an album full of color pictures of President Johnson giving the go-ahead to the Mafia, co-signed by Fidel Castro, for the Kennedy assassination. It makes me want to SCREAM!!!

It pretty much goes both ways... I will give you the pic he posted does not help his cause and he really should not post that if it hasn't happened... but even the president himself said last year that he did not have the power to do anything about immigration via executive order... and then he did just that, I would still like to see a scholarly discussion on the constitutionality of that order... Not saying that there should not be reform, just would like to know if the president did or did not have the authority to do what he did... I will give him credit for being a very shrewd politician as no one will challenge that action because of potential fallout.

As far as my comment on the both ways deal, this last week the NYT published an op-ed written by a U of Penn professor basically stating that the only reason that Tim Scott was appointed to the senate seat vacated in SC was that the republicans needed a token black senator, completely dismissing Scott's personal accomplishment in not only his business career, but also his accomplishment in winning his House Seat... Pretty much the editorial says that you can't be black and conservative... Now how can anyone intellectually defend such an assumption? This has been going on for the last 4 years, and it is only getting worse, look at the Foxsports correspondent who thought that it was appropriate to question Reggie Griffin III's blackness last week.. What the hell is that if it is not liberal thinking gone wild, he cited the fact that he thought that Griffin had a white fiance, and maybe voted republican so he probably was not down with the movement and was probably a "Cornball Brother" whatever the hell that is supposed to mean.....

Maybe I am wrong, but to me this is your side feeling overly self righteous and losing touch with reality... Just like those who you call wingnuts on my side sometimes have a tendency to do.
