Excellent portrait!
Thanks, that means alot...you are one of the many that have inspired me to continue trying to advance in this light capturing adventure.
Do you know the name of this enactor? I am sure that he could use this as a professional 8x10 head-shot.

I don't know his name, but I've already contacted the folks that sponsored the event and they are going to get me the upcoming schedule for this group. I've already got a 11 x 14 printed and ready to present to him. Hoping to do it before Christmas arrives. I just thought it would be nice for all the effort he (they) undertake. Hopefully he will like it.
Well done.
Nice unique conversion. It works here.
Well composed with room out front.

Great portrait. We often have re-enactments here in Tennessee and I attend whenever I'm able. Have attached one of my favorite captures. It was taken at the 145th anniversary of the Battle of Franklin.
Nice, but I would like to see it in color.

Two great portraits! #1 in B&W is excellent and more in keeping with history. #2 is a fine portrait of a gentleman of about my age. Fine looking fellows, both of them.

I think the Civil War was fought in black and white. They hadn't invented color yet.
Excellent portraits, both of them. Love the B&W and I'm sure he will love it also.
