Different to the usual cloud pics I post but they remind me of the sepia paintings from the Dutch Master Painters.
Hope at leasr someone will like the subtle coloring and extended tone range.

These shots were not sepia toned the sky was just an amazing paint box of muted colors and unusual examples of clouds in Florida.
One of the reasons Florida clouds are not so brilliantly colored is that the coloration comes from the sinking sun hitting dust particles in the air. No polution No or at least not so much refraction of the light, take your pick!

Sold most of these to an ABC TV affiliate as backgrounds for their weather channel, but they are real cheap!
Their argument is that its an honor to be chosen!!! I'd rather have the money!

Hmmm...the photo info from the download says they (#1 at least) was taken in 2009....
