Playing around in the living room.
First, I tried to shoot some more photos of our Christmas tree and to make them "pop". They didn't. Oh, well.
Then I decided to put a twist on the tree or, should I say, "turn"?
As my wife was decorating the mantel, she realized that we had way too many stockings because of a growing family. She then decided just to hang the stockings of the grandchildren who range in age from 2 1/2 years to 2 months with 3 out of 5 hoovering around the one year mark. Good call.
Just the tree
The tree on drugs.

Nice Tom!! That is very cool. Now tell me how you got the tree that way and not the back ground. Your house is looking beautiful! I need one of the train running by the tree.:):)

Hi, Erv! I just woke up from a nap. I have the night off. I thought about putting the train in the scene but it was 3am when I shot these and I did not want to make any noise.
As for the tree moving, it is simple. Last year my wife and I were at Hobby Lobby and they had this huge sale. They had rotating stands that they were selling for $10.00 (I seem to like that #). Hence, the blurry tree. F8.6, 6 second shutter, ISO 100. The only lights on were from the tree and the little ones on the mantel.

Very nice Tom! I guess I have to to Hobby Lobby and see, or go on line and see if I can find one. It would be nice to see all the things on the tree. very cool!!!

It is to the left, out of frame.
Like you spinning tree, Tom, and tell your wife her mantel decorating is spectacular.
