I am new to photography so please let me know what you all think. I'm wanting to do this to make some extra money coming in to get my girl a engagement ring so please let me know if there is anything that I need to change.
Watch your horizon levels.
these are good--seems like a calendar company would like them also !

I'm wondering about the exposures. #1 - the sky and clouds are well-exposed, but the trees seem underexposed. Similarly with #3. #2 - either you're going for very, very moody, or it's just underexposed.
You might want to use an ND filter (I don't have one, but there's lots of comments here on UHH about their use for shots like #1 and #3), or you might want to do some judicious experimenting with HDR. I'm not a big fan of HDR, which is usually overcooked, but I think these shots could benefit.
These were shot with just a regular Digital Camera. I don't have the money right now to get a DSLR but I am working on it hopefully I can get one soon.

Even so, you can take more than one shot using a tripod and combine them with post-processing software. Your camera can probably bracket shots. You can certainly control things manually.
i like #2
maybe it's because i'm from Florida. don't get to see snow very often.
