I've been following this forum for a few weeks getting daily e-mail updates and decided to join up today. I was using a Pentax K1000 for about 30 years and when I started my gardening around my 3 hooligan Border collies blog on Wordpress called Rosedale Gardens I purchased a Canon Rebel Xti. It's not unusual for me to take over 500-600 pictures a day esp. around hummingbird season. Grit magazine liked my crazy hooligans and asked me to blog for them. I also run the Remember Tuscumbia page on Facebook. Full time I work in a hospital laboratory in Florence. Tuscumbia is the home of Helen Keller, and is located in NW Al. Muscle Shoals, hit recording capital of the world in the 60's is next door. I consider myself an amateur in photography.
Welcome Marycar...wow..Grit magazine? I used to sell "the Grit" as a kid...wonder if its the same one...
Yes it is, it is now a bimonthly magazine instead of a newspaper. Go to Grit.com, blogs, mine is Rosedale Garden. I named it after our dairy farm. Thanks Mary
