Sence I posted this the last time I've made some major changes in my 12.5 ft. tall tri pod . Set it up in the wind and it didn't even wiggle even without the weight . Got to lenghten the pan handle though ,but works great . Did a poor man patent on it , might have a interested party... So what do you people think ....?...
Set at full hight...
Compared to a standard unit....
Not quite long enough...
Why don't you Google the address of the patient office, before someone else does?

Weighs only about 6 pounds , this is still only a proto type . I have a business name registered through the library of congress for my patents and my copyrights... Did that about 15 years ago ... With all my braces one should figure it be pretty easy to handle...

A tripod so high that a 10-foot step ladder is needed to reach camera.
Which circumstances would require a 12-foot tripod?
6' center column? Has to be some movement??? Camera tethered to a computer?? Or an 8' ladder?? As Wabbit asked there has to be some reasoning/purpose behind your thoughts/design. I just don't have any idea of what it is.
