Nice photos. It is my understanding these snakes are venomous but generally not lethal. I'd still keep my distance.

You are right. The bite would normally leave a small swelling and bit of numbness at worst, unless one was allergic.
I should know, I have been bitten once, when I took one off the tree. Don't want to do it again!!
