India - Purple Sunbird - Male

This beautiful bird has been visiting our garden along with its mate. Shy and difficult to photograph.
Brilliant colours, it has a patch of crimson, which I haven't managed to capture in these images in spite of getting him from different angles, except for a hint of it in image 1.
Also posting images of his lady.

Thanks for your comments JR, sometimes one has to be very quiet and patient to get the right shots, they are a delight to watch and it thrills me to get some good images.
