He was on my patio window just long enough to get some shots. The glass needs to be cleaned.

Tablespoon of ammonia in a quart bottle of water. Spray on and wipe off with b&w newspaper.

Voila - Brilliant

That newspaper trick really works !! better than paper towels by a long shot !

I have tried everything to clean those windows and nothing works. I tried razor blades, Muradic acid, pressure washer,Lime away. nothing works.

I have the same problem with the patio door "glass". I recently found the "glass" is not really glass, but a type of plastic coated stuff. The normal cleaning substances we us causes the "glass" to look dirty, and streaked. Who would guess.

It's not a double pane is it?...If it is, the streaks could be between the panes & replacement is the only answer...

They are dual pane but the calcium build up is on the outer surface from sprinklers.

Vinegar (light acid) dissolves calcium deposits.
