Merry Christmas to all

Tried to make it appear as if it was snowing in Florida. Also tried to make it animated (falling snow) yet could not quite figure out. Maybe next time. It was difficult enough getting the cooperation of two Jack Russell's! Especially considering donning their Santa caps! The photo is actually three; the scene and then one of each dog and then placed them into the scene.

Also a couple of photos of some Holly lighted trees. One played with the zoom a little.

Merry Christmas.

Thank you for all the work you put into this card it looks really good. I look forward to next years card. Also thanks for your Christmas wishes. I wish you and your family (and pets) a happy and merry Christmas and a healthy and safe New Year.
Bill

P.S.
We were forced out of our home by Sandy. I have attached some pictures of our new tree in our temporary housing unit. That storm ruined almost everything we had but I am determined to not allow it take away Christmas. The rest of the unit is stack tables, folding chairs and cardboard boxes but we are still better off than so many others. All we want for Christmas is the strength to keep going.

to Shutter Guy: That's the spirit! Beautiful tree, creche and window garland.
You salvaged them from the house?

Shutter Guy, thank you for your comments and wishes. As Liebgard stated... and more to the point...keep the spirit. I admire what you have done keeping the spirit of Christmas alive with your tree and decorations.

Sandy took almost everything and what it didn't destroy outright it ruined with the stink from heating oil from broken fuel tanks and the smell from backed up sewers. Everything has to be thrown out or, if it didn't actually come in contact with the flood water, thoroughly cleaned usually more than once. These decorations are all new, I just went nuts a few days ago and went into a local store and started grabbing things. I was really disappointed when I tried to buy the creche. None in Target, K Mart, CVS, Right Aid, Sears and about a half dozen local card and gift shops. The Hallmark store had two that looked like cartoon characters. Poor Jesus, it started with no room at the inn for Him and today there seems to be no room in Christmas for Him. After a couple of days my wife found this creche in the Dollar Store of all places.
Thank you for your encouraging words, they really do help.
Once again Merry Christmas.

Thank you for your encouragement. If you read my reply to Liebgrad you will get an idea as to how depressing this situation really is and we are better off than a lot of folks. Putting up a tree and creche was/is my way of trying to keep our spirits up. It helps but there are a lot of really forlorn people in this area and I don't see an end to it anytime soon.
I thank you again for your kind words, they do help, and I wish you and your family a Happy Christmas.
