The Emu is the largest bird native to Australia. It is the second largest bird in the world by height, after the ostrich which is native to Africa. These soft feathered, brown, flightless birds reach up to 2 metres (6 ft 6 in) in height. They can travel great distances at a fast, economical trot and, if necessary, can sprint at 70 km/h (43 mph. Their long legs allow them to take strides of up to 275 centimetres (9 ft). Source: Wikipedia

Looks like it could be mean...hope you can out sprint it ;-) Great shots!

Thank you for looking. An economical trot will be at a slower pace of around 50 km/h (30 mph). :-D
