One of our local tv stations has a segment every Wednesday on their Breakfast show - "Bad Parking photos" - I could NOT resist sending these in. They showed them this morning and I was pleased to see I gave them a good laugh.
The car is no longer there, maybe it washed away and is 'parked' further downstream.

Oh my goodness.
Do you happen to know how long this has been in the water?

It had been there no more than 2 weeks when I took these photos, it's a place I go for walks in from time to time. It's moved on now, whether by 'force of man' or 'force of nature' is yet to be determined. As the presenters on the tv show said yesterday "It could be parked further downstream."

Seems strange the County has not pulled it out.
When i lived in Wisconsin, and a few cars had sunk down through the ice ( ice fishing) they were told to have their cars removed at all costs or they would be fined $1000 a day. This was on Lake Michigan waters.

What 'county?' - this is New Zealand. It's quite possible the local authority has removed it, when I went back there the other day there were tyre tracks leading down to the river edge, definitely a large vehicle judging by the tracks, tow truck perhaps. I just found it amusing that the presenters thought it may be 'parked' further down the river.
I knew I should not have parked that close to the river

I hope the parking wasn't so bad that the driver didn't escape.
Good shots.
Cheers

Given the high costs of parking these days, never mind the lack of spaces, almost surprising more people don't park in rivers.
