Celebrating Birthdays at the Nursing Home

December's birthday party. There were 8 residents that had birthdays in December and the Home has a party each month for the ones who have birthdays in that month. Our Church made some cakes and punch, and helped serve the guests of honor. Naturally I had to get my camera out and start shooting. I am making these 5x7s and will add a simple stand up frame for them so the residents can set them on there dressers. here are 3 of the ones I am working on for them.

2 and 3 just happen to be mother and daughter. Perhaps if you ever traveled on US-371 South of I-20, you would come to the 2nd traffic light, that would be Ringgold, LA.. .and there you may have seen this mother and daughter. Or....maybe not.

Thank you all for the kind words, our church members do try to help others when they can. Some day it may be our turn to need some help,so as the saying goes, "pay it forward".

i do the local nursing homes...and i do it as a community service....plus i get great bake goods!!! those seniors love to cook and i love to eat!!!
