3 Tb of backup drive, Cheap

Just happened to be walking through the local Costco and noticed a Seagate Back Up Plus external hard drive for $119 after immediate rebate. I've seen several discussions about storing photos on UHH lately and thought that if you were thinking about buying yourself a Christmas gift............

Buy two, you should have more than one backup drive.

Yes, and if you don't need the Wi-Fi capability of the Plus, then the Seagate Go Flex Desk 3 TB, USB 3.0 is only $99. I just joined Costco and love walking around and discovering stuff like this!

I jumped the gun and last month they had a Toshiba 1TB for $79 with a 16Mb thumb drive. If I knew they were going to have this 3Tb, I would have waited. Oh, well.......

I've just bought a Seagate GoFlex 2TB Home Network Storage System (UK - £115 from Maplin & £100 from Currys where it's end of line); I love it & have bought daughter one. It plugs into router & backs up wirelessly on both PCs - constantly in real time (so, when I add a photo it's on the backup drive immediately). It's a long time since I've been so impressed with a piece of technology. (I also have a second hard drive for photos!)
