My second favorite thing to shoot.

I spend all summer looking forward to the next Rodeo to shoot, but in the winter, there aren't any. As a consolation, there is high school wrestling during the winter. I have been hooked on shooting wrestling since a day 5 years ago, when a friend at a tournament handed me his Rebel XTI, and let me use it for a while. I liked it so much, that I stopped on the way home and bought a Rebel (my first camera).

Cradle

Thank you Erv. The light was not quite that good. I brightened those a little in post, and adjusted white balance. For some reason, I thought that they looked ok without setting custom wb (wrong), on the camera screen.
I used a Canon 5D with a Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 Iso was at 1600, which is pretty high for an old 5D. 1/200 at f/2.8
Here is a shot straight out of the camera.

You did really good tho. You got some great DOF for 2.8! That last shot out of the camera is pretty darn good. I have never tried 1600 on my Nikon D300s. Might got out and try that.:)

The new cameras will deliver good image quality at a high ISO. I'm dying to buy a new camera, but have already bought two spendy lenses this year. Better make due with the 5D for another year... maybe the mkII's or even mkIII's will come down in price.
