Hello everyone, I just signed up for the forum and I think it is really great. I'm new to photography and I'm looking to improve with all of your help. I just purchased a Canon Rebel T3 with a standard 55mm lens. I've been messing around with HDR but I want to do/learn more.

welcome. you should find this site helpull. It has lots of friendly people a few pros who are nice enough to answer your questions and put some thought and length to their ansewrs. Not to mention the amazing photos :D post away, apply what you learn shoot some more repeat. Since you said you were new to photography some free advice. 1) READ YOUR MANUAL hold your camera while reading your manual and touch each button and control. Untill you are comfortable with your camera take your manual with you while shooting. If its a cd manual print it out. @) there are many good intro to photography books in the market. get one and read it. any questions don not hesitate to ask on this site, someone will help yopu out. Now for the important question, whats up with your screen name? Why are you called the big nickel? curiosity overwhelms me

actualy I am not. I find what people use for screen names fascinating. It says a lot about their personalities, hobbies professions etc Me I am a huge Sinatra, Dean Martin Tony Bennet fan.
