Maven - I've seen countless great photos on this site but keep coming back to this one. Little John has such an interesting face and you captured it so well. Photos of this sort often portray sympathy or sorrow but yours does not. John is a handsome man whose face shows the hard road he has traveled in life with dignity and pride. His eyes show so much sensitivity and pride. I really love this shot and wish I knew John. Thanks for sharing him with us.
