I used to throw all my blurr photo away never let anyone see them and now they calling these blurrr photo great pic I say no way I feel they are no good what do u think or feel about blurry photo keeper or throwawys as i do..I know every one to thier self like and dis like but really blurry who want a wedding shot that is blurry or any shot,,I do not know..

I wouldn't want a whole album of blurry wedding photos, but a blur can show movement or just give an eerie, ethereal effect. It would
Have to be done just right, or it would look awful.

I usually dump my blurry shots, too. Not that many of mine are blurry, of course. :D

Generally there are a couple times that blur is desirable. If you are looking to blur out the background which will make your subject pop out or as Jerry mentioned blur when done right can suggest movement. To have a photo that is just blurry due to lack of focus is not something anyone would see as desirable.

I guess it's like good grammar. Some people prefer to write sentences that are clearly written, and some prefer writing 'blurry' ones..

There is good use for "blurry photos." In the background we call it "bokeh," and there is good bokeh and and bad bokeh. Moving objects that show blurr is also a good use of blurr. However, stopped motion is good also.

My point is that to disreagard every photo that has "blurr" is to miss some really good work. This practice also shows the inability to appreciate the creativity of the photographer.

Not all blurr is bad, but neither is all blurr good. Needs to be evaluated on what it creates in the photo.

We make the assumption that what we see as beautiful/interesting, is how others see it..WRONG| I am amazed sometimes when a shot I think is awful recieves so many positive compliments on the forum gallery. If you see a shot as rubbish then it is as far as you are concerned.:-)

A lot of the confusion in writing seem to come from our jumping over words as most of us can think much faster than we can write. However there is no excuse for the use of the "internet abreviations" that seem so common. In a chat with a friend they may be OK, but if communicating a thought or idea is your goal, try plain language. Even if da spullen ain't so gud.

Dllphoto, take a look at Understanding Exposure written by Bryan Peterson. He shows several examples where blurr is used creatively to convey the feeling of movement. Blurr can be used to great effect if used properly but a blurry photograph wouldn't be one of them. Hopes this helps you.
