We bought a1994 Winnebego Adventurer in Richmond, VA and traded it for a 1997 Pace Arrow Vision in Myrtle Beach, SC and lived in them for about 6 years, too! Had to almost give it away when we sold it. But we did have a lot of fun while on the road. Still have the yearn to be back out there on occasion, especially then driving and see one go by.....I have also shopped at Lazy Days and looked at those Monacos while there.....they were definitely beautiful motorhomes....my wife decided she needed a home to come back to so we bought one near where our children lived, back in the Richmond area........:mrgreen:

Been in some very nice motor homes can't convince the wife to sell the house and buy one and hit the road. I have seen double decker trailers to pull behind with the truck and boat in tow! It doesn't cost anything to dream. There are some amazing 5th wheels also and it is legal to tow another trailer behind the 5th wheel.

He failed to have a "backup" camera installed on the rear of the 5th wheel to monitor his auto and on one of his trips, he was driving down the highway and had another driver "hail" him to ask if it was he who was pulling a car. He found that the weld had failed, the receiver broke off and his car ran down a small embankment and into a field......was very lucky there was no one hurt, nor was his vehicle damaged. Just meant his wife would have to drive it until he could have another receiver installed. After that incident, he didn't have any more trouble with it.
