If this works it will be due to good advise from your membership. If not, then it is only because I am unskilled.
The eagle was shot with a Sony F828, F8, 1/320
The fishing village with a Sony A700, F6.3, 1/320, 120mm
The Winter Sunset with a Sony A850, F4.5, 1/100, 70mm
The picture of the eagle is fabulous. I know how difficult it is to photograph birds so I truly appreciate the great shots.
I think winter scene could be improved by cropping, especially the left side, so the mountain becomes the focal point.

the picture of the eagle should be framed and on every american legion hall in the country. wonderfull work.
Hope you don't mind - I couldn't resist taking a look at a closer crop. Great winter scene.

You are right, of course, but I hated to cut out the street sign and old vehicles since they are so typically Akaskan.
The village is the Ninilchik Fishing Village on Cook Inlet and the mountain is Mt. Redoubt. Thank you for your comments and effort.

Thank you very much. The shot was taken from the Homer Spit looking back toward Homer in winter.
On the winter scene, the way to crop it is based on what you want the subject of the photo to be. I understand what you are saying about using the whole shot. In that photo I hardly even see the mountain. It feels like the buildings are the subject. In the edited version I see the mountain as the subject. Again it's your photo and you need to decide which way to go. I think they both make a great photo. I will attach a edit I did to the next comments. I adjusted the levels to lighten and brighten a bit on both edits. On the second edit I removed the section of wire that crosses the mountain.
The eagle shot is beautiful. Look at the big feet on that guy!
On the third I feel the snow at the base was more of a distraction than anything. I depends on how important it is to you to have the snow show. I show you an edit without the snow. The only thing I did with this is crop. It is a beautiful shot. Fabulous color, nice foreground.
