Got the results back from the Bug ID guys on this spider, thought I would share. The one with the red and white stripes is the Male for the Species. One of the smallest that I photograph. The female is even smaller but a lot easier to approach and much more plentiful. It seems it's not uncommon for the female of the species to eat the males. Have your cake and eat it too.
Note: If you folks run across any of these Jumping Spiders and want an ID it's important to include a Dorsal photo. That's the backside photographed from above, seems the patterns on the Dorsal go a long way in helping to ID the spiders.
Male Plexippus paykulli
Female Plexippus paykulli

You do a great job with other little bugs, these should be no problem. I sometimes herd them with my hand to turn around for me to photograph. I mostly shot at a 30 degree angle, if I try to shot head on my lens picks up the spiders front paws instead of his eyes. F/20 to F/22 for the best depth.
Great job as usual of a spider that has me hooked, if I ever find one!! Thanks for the info.

I hate spiders but love your pics, all the details!
Some more great shots of my favorite kind of spider.
