Question on Best Use of Flash on dark surroundings

I use a shoe mounted flash called mecablitz on my Nikon D7000. It works very well when bouncing the light off a white ceiling or walls.

My question what is the best way to bounce the light when surrounded by dark colored walls i.e. black roofs or black walls found mainly in dimly lit soundings

If your speedlight shoots straight up, there are 45-degree white card reflectors that create bounce flash.

These will fit any similar speedlight

The quick and cheap solution is taping a small piece of white foam board to your flash to mimmick the set up above. This will do o.k. if this is a one time deal, however, if your going to find yourself needing this set up often, Nikonian's answer is the way to go.
