This is a shot I took of my other passion[old cars and hot rods] I think I got the right look, but not sure, hey Perry, what do you think?

i love old vettes you are a lucky man. why does the rock closest to the left of your photo look like its been cut straight with a laser? it looks unatural. :!:
Thanks Sinatraman,I'm not sure why the rock looks like that,it been there a long time. Does the angle look ok? my plans are to shoot old cars and trks as a sideline for my gearhead buddys.

angle is fine. As a sugestion after taking a general overview shot like this one, move in close and get details. hoods, tires and rims front grills taillights, interior shot of steering wheel and gauges. a classic car is a gold mine of oportunites. also at car shows dont forget people shots. a little boy looking at that giant hot wheel with awe on his face, older men looking at classic cars while reminiscing. night time car shows at classic drive in restaurants with neon reflecting on the chrome.. All that and at bigger car shows there is always some guy dressed like elvis. car shows are my favorite hunting grounds.

A more attractive driveway would have made a difference. You have cracks with weeds growing in the cracks and a string of brown leaves piled up to detract from the automobile
Aye John Henry...macdhai here. I also love cars. My heart throb is a 93 Mustang GT convertible, 5.0L. You have a great Vette. Would suggest a different location for the shoot. The driveway totally distracts from that sweet machine. (maybe grassway with water and/or good trees in background) Snapping in evening light before sundown will soften and enhance the composition. Fords Forever! Aye!! macdhai
Personally I think red looks better, but any year Corvette is fine.
The problem this weekend is they are running a special on Mustangs only at thew drag strip, so it would be a waste of time to go!

yeah, Its a stock T top, would love to have a glass top some day. Thanks for all the photo tips, I guess I didn't see the trees for the forest on the driveway and the rocks. I really dig the Mustang too!
