Haven't seen too many in a while.

A bird deep in thought? I don't think so.

Beautifully done. Great detail! Now set up a perch using natural materials, close by, where they can wait their turn (while you take their picture!)

Kind of like this? Lol. I know what you mean. I have an oak nearby that is perfect for this. The goldfinches sit up in that and a close by Birch. Now that the leaves have dropped, I have half a chance.

These were also shot today (Tuesday).

Almost. Take a bare branch and attach it to something like a lightstand. Make sure it has only one comfortable place for the birds to perch on. Place it about 2 feet away from the feeder and make sure you have a clear background. The birds will use it and you will get great, very natural looking shots. Although they do use the trees to perch in, there are too many places for them to use and too many branches and twigs to get in the way. Try it!

That ought to be easy enough. Thanks.

Thanks, Jo. And there were Robins everywhere also. So many that one could not count them all!

Very nice detail on those shots. I agree with BirdPix, set up a natural perch close by and you will some wonderful opportunities for photos.

Thanks, Donna. I may see them one day and then go a week without seeing any. In the summer they are constant.
