Chuy Loc: OUT OF TOWN

Watched over these guys from the day they were born. I protected them from every possible thing you can imagine. From kids with rocks, fox, coyotes, shooters out for a laugh, birds of prey and the list go's on. During the time I spent with these guys a bond was made that amazes me to this day.I knew the time would come when Lord willing they would take to the skies and be gone. This of course was bitter sweet for me. I had grown quite attached to them. The little stories I accumulated with them over the many months are book worthy. On the day they were ready to leave they did the most wonderful thing, they all came out of the pond and went into this marvelous pose. The photo is technically not the best but it will always be on my wall. The next day they were gone.

Very poignant Chewy, you are simply going to have to adopt some more. :)

They are the ones that got me into animal rescue. I have never been at a shortage of these wonderful animals. Thanks Bmac.

How sweet, Chewy! That's a story I can relate to quite well. You have a very pretty picture of them.

Marilyn I waited threw the winter with great anticipation but they did not return in the spring. This story took place several years ago. Since then I have been very active in animal rescue and their cousins have kept me very busy. Thanks

Thanks Marilyn. I believe the day is coming when my kind of work will no longer be necessary.

i am not sure what you actually do, but if you think it will be phased out, there will always be another opening for your help some where along the line.
Volunteers are always needed.

I was referring to the return of the Creator. Sorry for being vague.
